This page explains what you can and can't do with HR Daddy™ templates, who owns what, and why you shouldn't try to pass off our work as yours (we'll know).

1. What We Own (Everything Good)

All HR Daddy™ templates, designs, copy, and general excellence are the intellectual property of HR Daddy LLC. This includes but isn't limited to:

Don't use these without permission. We worked hard on this branding, and trademark lawyers are expensive.

3. License Types

When you purchase HR Daddy™ templates, here's what you're getting:

Personal License

Standard pricing What you can do:
  • Use templates for your personal work needs
  • Customize them with your information
  • Use them forever (no expiration)
  • Make yourself look professional AF
  • Brag about your excellent taste
What you can't do:
  • Share with your whole office (buy them their own)
  • Resell or redistribute
  • Remove our subtle branding
  • Claim you made them
  • Use for multiple businesses

Team License

Bulk pricing (contact us) What you can do:
  • Share with your specified team size
  • Use across your organization
  • Customize with company branding
  • Make your whole team look good
  • Update as your team grows (with notice)
What you can't do:
  • Share beyond your licensed user count
  • Resell to other companies
  • White-label as your own product
  • Use our trademarks in your marketing
  • Create derivative works for sale

Custom Work License

Project-based pricing What you get:
  • Templates designed specifically for you
  • Your branding integrated
  • Exclusive use rights (if negotiated)
  • The satisfaction of custom excellence
  • Ongoing support (per agreement)
What we keep:
  • The right to showcase in our portfolio
  • Underlying design methodologies

  • Rights to similar future work

We're pretty chill, but we protect what's ours. If you violate our IP rights, we'll:

  1. Ask you nicely to stop (once)
  2. Ask less nicely (with lawyers)
  3. Take legal action (nobody wants this)
  4. Put you on the naughty list (no future templates for you)

Seriously, we put a lot of work into these templates. Respect the craft, respect the copyright, and we'll all get along fine.

If you think someone is using your copyrighted material on our site (unlikely but possible), or if you see someone stealing our stuff, let us know:

We make templates. You buy them. You use them legally. Everyone's happy. Don't steal our stuff, don't pretend it's yours, and don't use it for evil. It's really that simple.
